Performance Information and Regulation Team – NHS London RegionOperations Directorate – Out-of-Hospital Community Care | Vaccine Analytics Sub-TeamAnalyst within the PIR team’s vaccine analytics group, working across the full range of vaccination programmes in London. Projects span routine immunisations, targeted vaccination campaigns, and seasonal programmes — for example, COVID-19, flu, RSV, and school-age vaccines. Use statistical techniques and descriptive analytics to inform public health strategies and support improvements in vaccination uptake.Key Responsibilities & Achievements- Build and maintain data transformation pipelines using PySpark within the NHS Federated Data Platform (FDP)- Develop reusable functions with the Ontology SDK and set up automated reporting using FDP workshop modules- Analyse complex, multi-source healthcare datasets to generate clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders- Create dashboards and visualisations to monitor performance and support operational decision-making- Provide internal expertise on GitHub version control and Databricks workflows, mentoring colleagues and improving team capability- Collaborate with other analytical teams — for example, using predictive modelling to help the Population Health Management team forecast maternity service demand, and contributing to mental health and urgent/elective care analysesImpact:Key contributor to the team’s transition to FDP-based analytics, enabling more efficient, scalable, and collaborative workflows. Deliver insights that inform vaccination policy, operational planning, and broader NHS public health interventions.
