   Build process safety in PMT projects using industry best practices and rigorous risk analysis. Review capital projects’ early phases assuring inherently safer technologies (IST), facility siting, risk assessments, and layers of protection studies to manage risk. Serve sites in PSM and RMP compliance. • Provide thought leadership to entire organization in areas of IST, Facility Siting, Risk Assessments, Process Safety Event (PSE) reporting and investigation, PSM and RMP applicability, Incident Investigation Maturity, Process Safety Fundamentals’ (PSFs) compliance and support risk reduction programs at existing facilities. • Build world class process safety into new projects including new product and new process development. • Lead teams in R&D, Engineering, Operations and HSE in the assessment and implementation of Inherently Safer Technologies. • Champion application of layers of protection to existing assets. • Lead incident investigation process maturity helping sites enhance investigation quality and improve performance. • Lead Kaizen teams achieve continuous improvement in safety performance. Develop root cause analysis training and procedures to guide PMT sites in addressing systemic root causes and prevent incident recurrence. Co-lead the development of a Corporate Incident Investigation training. • Assure process safety event (PSE) reporting integrity. Conduct refresher training on API RP 754 to process safety community. • Lead team in conducting deep dive of what are causing PMT PSEs and develop non-capital solutions to address learnings. • Mentor engineers to ensure process safety fundamentals are considered in projects. • Serve sites in assuring PSM or RMP compliance through audits. • Represent Honeywell at American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM) Regional Process Safety Network and drive best process safety practices for PMT and industry.
