Principal Manager at Southern California Edison with 20+ years in engineering and utility operations, now leading Asset Data Management to strengthen data quality, governance, and AI-readiness across T&D. I build the strategies, teams, and systems that turn asset data into reliable decisions—standing up data quality metrics and remediation programs, engineering pipelines and visualization tools, and aligning governance, business glossaries, and metadata standards to enable predictive analytics, digital twin work, and grid modernization.Previously, I led the Asset Management & Continuous Improvement portfolio—driving Lean/DMAIC initiatives that improved asset lifecycle processes, prioritized risk‑based maintenance, and delivered measurable cost and reliability benefits through a multi‑year asset strategy roadmap.I bring a deep civil engineering foundation to this data-focused work. Earlier at SCE, I managed staff engineers and consultants, led the System & Reliability Strategy team, and ran Value Engineering to revamp T&D standards and specifications. As a Supervising Engineer, I oversaw civil work on fee-owned ROWs and easements and served as lead Civil Engineer for a first-of-its-kind 3.7‑mile, 500 kV underground transmission project—from licensing testimony through final engineering and into construction. I’m a California Registered Civil Engineer and previously contributed to industry standards through the California Joint Utility Traffic Control Manual technical review team and the Work Area Traffic Control Handbook (WATCH) Committee.Career-long throughline: connect field reality, engineering rigor, and data systems to improve safety, reliability, and cost efficiency. Current interests include grid digitalization, digital twin technology, and AI integration into utility workflows to enable smarter, data-driven planning and operations.
