Proud Canadian citizen, Nobel Aka has dedicated over a decade to diplomacy, international development, and youth empowerment. He currently serves as Political Analyst YGP at ECOWAS (CEDEAO) Permanent Representation in Côte d’Ivoire, and is also a PhD candidate researching diplomacy and economic espionage in China-Canada relations at Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) under the Shanghai Municipal Government Scholarship (Sept 2025- Jul 2029) Previously, he worked as Junior Professional Consultant - Regional Partnerships at the World Food Programme Regional Bureau for West and Central Africa, building strategic alliances across public, private, and multilateral sectors. He was among 24 Canadians selected for a global diplomacy fellowship with UN Agencies, which led to his first deployment to WFP Dakar, Senegal. WHAT MAKES HIM UNIQUE? In 2015, he was one of 8 fellows selected from applicants by the U.S. Department of State, participating in the prestigious Community College Initiative Program (CCIP) at Miami Dade College and summits at the White House with President Obama, UN Headquarters with Ban Ki Moon, and events with Chelsea Clinton. Nobel holds a Master in International Affairs and Diplomacy (UNITAR, Geneva & UOC, Barcelona) and is pursuing a MicroMasters from MIT in Data, Economics & Policy Design. He’s also PMP® certified and earned a diploma in Sustainable Development & Ecotourism from Miami Dade College, where he researched public-sector reform in fragile states.
