Most HR professionals don’t speak numbers.Most finance folks don’t get people.I do both. I’m a Chartered Accountant (All India Rank 44) and an XLRI Jamshedpur HRM graduate, currently working as an HR Business Partner at The Coca-Cola Company, supporting corporate functions. But I didn’t start here. I began in Mergers and Acquisitions at KPMG, advising global clients on high-stakes buyouts and fundraises on both the buy side and the sell side. That’s where I learned something important: Even the best strategies fail without people alignment. So I pivoted. From numbers → to culture. From deals → to development. Today, I bring a dual lens to HR: strategic and analytical. Not just how people feel, but how performance scales. Here’s the lens I use: Capability: Build teams around skill, not just titles.
