In the Malda Lab, I work on the musculoskeletal system, focusing on articular cartilage. My research aims to harness innovative biofabrication and tissue engineering strategies to investigate how structural and mechanical cues drive cartilage formation and maturation. Ultimately, I hope to deepen our understanding of cartilage biomechanics to develop more physiologically relevant in vitro cartilage models.
