About Noah van Nest
I am a Second Century, Huffington Bertha, and Tower Scholar at Southern Methodist University. Currently, I am pursing a degree in Finance with a minor in Public Policy and International Affairs. In my freshmen year I was selected to be a Board Fellow, a competitive program which places participants on the board of a non-profit in Dallas, TX. I was assigned to and currently sit on the board of Vogel, a non-profit focused on helping young children overcome the lasting and traumatic effects of homelessness. In addition to being a Board Fellow, I am the Vice President of Scholarship and Awards for Delta Sigma Pi, and a member of SMU Men\'s Club Volleyball Team. Last year I served as the Vice President of Chapter Operations for Delta Sigma, the Director of Communications for SMU Homecoming, and the Outreach Chair for SMU UNICEF. During the summer of 2024, I interned at BlueStem Wealth Partners as a Financial Analyst & Audit Intern where I assisted in asset management, analyzed data to optimize compliance, and converted 80% of paper-requesting to digital users. I have experience in wealth management, financial analysis, politics, data analysis, and administrative work. After graduating, I plan to pursue a career in wealth management, financial advising, financial analysis, or commercial banking.
