About Noah Bears R.
Noah has been a trailblazer in the mental health / self-help and music communities for 30+ years. He holds an undergraduate degree in philosophy from California Lutheran University, a graduate degree in counseling psychology from Humboldt and is a licensed therapist. Noah has worked with thousands of people in various counseling and consultation roles within mental health clinics, residential treatment, emergency shelters, hospice, home-based therapy, the Los Angeles Unified School District, and in private practice. In 2006, Noah founded GoodTherapy.org to help demystify and destigmatize therapy and to support healthy and collaborative approaches to psychotherapy. Over the 12 years that Noah ran Goodtherapy.org as it’s CEO, it became one of the world’s leading mental health resources, receiving millions of monthly visitors and adding thousand therapists to its ranks. In 2017 while helping his mom navigate her terminal illness, Noah entered into a beautiful mid-life crisis that completely changed the course of his life. In 2018 Noah sold GoodTherapy.org to a NASDAQ traded company and was able to take a huge trust fall with his life allowing him to have more time with his two pre-teen boys, launch his music project, WakingBear.org and begin working on his upcoming book, “The Beautiful Cracks in Your heart” For more info about Noah, see:
