My work is grounded in listening, relationship-building, and centering lived experience as a source of insight for creating policies that meet real needs and expand collective well-being. I am a Researcher and Policy Advocate at the Center on Policy Initiatives, where I work to advance people-first public investments that strengthen working-class communities and communities of color and help build a San Diego where everyone has what they need to thrive. I focus on translating community priorities into policy solutions, supporting coalition-based organizing, and making public budgets more transparent and accessible.I am motivated by collective power, collaboration, and the possibility of building a more just and caring society.
