About Noah Spivak

I am currently studying for my Master of Architecture at Pratt Institute’s GALAUD. I am a recent graduate of Toronto Metropolitan University’s (formerly Ryerson University) Department of Architectural Science where I received a Bachelor of Architectural Science with honors. I have had experience in architectural firms around the world that have enriched my knowledge of architecture and local influence. Before attending University I took a gap year and lived in Israel. During this year I interned for an architecture firm for 4 months as well as a fashion designer and a small business. These experiences enriched my ability to adapt to new circumstances and communicate with a variety of people in a variety of different fields. In addition to my work experience I have participated in several architectural design competitions including the Canadian Center for Architectures Annual Inter-University Charrette, and the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture’s annual steel competition. Completing in third place in the CCA 2019 charrette has been my most successful distinction, while every competition has helped my polish and expand my architectural designing and presentation skills. I recently completed a 16 month Co-op placement at Gow Hastings Architects where I worked on all stages of project design ranging from City of Toronto Parks to Canadian Universities.
