1. Peace Corps

   Feb 2024 — Present · Ferizaj, XK

   Received two-month intensive training on Kosovo Albanian language, culture, and civil society functions in Kosovo. Volunteered in the Ferizaj Youth Sector to help with organizational capacity building and organizing youth programs. Created and implemented the first attendance tracking and data reporting system for the Youth Sector. Helped manage social media accounts, design yearly reports, create and post information about new policies and upcoming events. Developed and ran a biweekly spring semester English club for Roma and Ashkali ethnic minority youth in grades 7th, 8th and 9th. Average attendance per session was 15-20 students. Assisted with English language sessions in a local private school. Developed, applied and approved for an environmentally focused Small Project Assistance (SPA) Grant via USAID. Grant ultimately not disbursed or implemented because of USAID’s closure.
