About Noah Marty

Before I knew that I wanted a career in public policy, I knew that my highest calling was serving my community. I initially wanted to become an engineer that would create electronics to make the world more accessible to those with a disability and spent much of my high school years working towards that goal. Following the events of the 2016 election, I discovered that my true passion was in making a positive difference in my community and that public policy was going to be my way of doing that.Since graduating from high school in 2017, I served four years in student government with a focus on legislative advocacy at the California State Legislature, four years in college political organizations, and worked as an intern in the California State Assembly. I graduated from Sacramento State University in May 2021, and hold a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations. Following my graduation from Sacramento State, I was accepted into the Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship Program and served as a fellow for the second year of the 20••••22 Legislative Session. During this year I gained experience working on a wide range of policies from public safety, K-12 and higher education, and environmental sustainability, along with privacy and technology-related policy. Following the end of the fellowship, I started as a Legislative Aide with the office, and recently moved up to Senior Legislative Aide.
