About Noah Golan
As a mechanical engineer with a passion for manufacturing and design, I specialize in optimizing processes to make them more efficient, faster, and safer. Examples of this include safety operations like safety light curtains, large scale automation machinery to cut down production time. With hands-on experience in the defense industry, including work at Cartridge Actuated Devices, I have developed a deep understanding of precision manufacturing and automation. Beyond manufacturing, I have strong leadership experience, having led a team of 20 engineers in ASME’s trebuchet competition, where we built a full scale trebuchet capable of propelling a volleyball 200 feet. As the founder and president of the Architecture Club at Stevens, I’ve also developed organizational and strategic planning skills. Additionally, as the design lead for my team in the Port Authority of NY & NJ competition, I have played a key role in developing a full-scale autonomous robot—an effort that has earned us a finalist position. With a strong background in both hands-on and digital design, including SolidWorks and prototyping, I thrive in fast-paced environments that require adaptability and problem-solving. My experience spans the defense industry, and I am soon expanding into the pharmaceutical sector, continuing my mission to push the boundaries of efficiency and innovation.
