ABOUT NOAH BAIN
I am a Mechanical EIT with multidisciplinary experience in the mining and bulk materials handling sectors. I currently work with the engineering team at Fuse Advisors, supporting projects from conceptual through pre‑feasibility stages while also contributing to business development.My work focuses on early‑stage engineering for mining projects, including system definition, technical advisory, process flow development, equipment selection, trade‑off evaluations, capital and operating cost assessments, PEA, PFS, all along with constructability considerations.Alongside my engineering career, I have pursued rugby at the highest level. After graduating from the University of Victoria with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and as a proud Vikes Rugby alumnus, I spent several years competing with the National Senior Men’s Rugby 7s team. I’ve played the sport for over 15 years and have competed professionally with Canada 7s and in the MLR for the Utah Warriors and New England Free Jacks. At UVic, I was fortunate to help capture a National Championship while balancing the demands of engineering.My dual path in engineering and professional sport has shaped a strong, disciplined work ethic and a commitment to high performance in team environments.Outside of work and rugby, I enjoy travelling, touch rugby, a nice flat white, golf, diving, and time spent with friends and family.If you’re interested in collaborating on mining or materials handling projects, or you want to connect over rugby, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
