ABOUT NOAH ALSTON

I build analytics solutions that don\'t fall apart six months after delivery. Most of my work lives in the Microsoft ecosystem, Power BI, SQL, Azure, Fabric, with a focus on the data modeling and architecture decisions that make dashboards actually maintainable.I\'ve spent the last several years doing this in consulting environments, which means I\'ve learned to design for the people who inherit the work, not just the people who asked for it. That usually means pushing for star schemas over report-level hacks, documenting the why behind architectural choices, and making sure stakeholders understand what they\'re looking at.As a Microsoft Certified Fabric Analytics Engineer, I\'m currently going deep on Fabric as the platform matures. There aren\'t many practitioners yet, and I\'d rather be early.
