Overseeing the planning, design and construction of residential and commercial building developments across Ontario complete with all aspects of deliverables from concept to commissioning, including basis of design, site plans, building plans and details, code analysis, project budget estimates, and all drawings and specifications for building permit, contractor procurement, and construction.Serving as a primary point for contact for clients and other relevant parties to understand their needs, and expectations to effectively communicate project progress, milestones and deliverables.Working with the principal partner to develop strategic initiatives and business development efforts including cultivating existing client relationships to identify potential opportunities for growth and expanding the firm’s portfolio.Spearheading the continued implementation of BIM within the practice by optimizing workflows and improving the means and methods of collaboration to enhance efficient project delivery.Working closely with project managers, senior designers, engineers, and technical specialists on building projects, particularly by leading good practices for building design.Negotiating contracts, proposals, and agreements with clients, consultants, and vendors, to ensure the best possible project outcomes and to protect the interests of all relevant project participants.
