ABOUT NNAMDI AHUCHOGU

I have over 20 years Purchasing/ Buying experience. My experience is spread across the Oil & Gas (Downstream) industry as well as the Commercial vehicle and Power Generation manufacturing industry. In my previous role as a Regional Category Leader at Cummins, I have been responsible for Category Spend within the EMEA of circa $70M annualised spend and have delivered cost reduction targets in excess of 3% of this spend. I have also been responsible for negotiating and implementing key supplier contracts that helped the achievement of sourcing strategies. I believe that these when coupled with my enthusiasm and dedication and knowledge of key purchasing processes and practices, has helped the business to achieve sustainable business growth and development which is evident in their financial performance.Likewise in my role as Purchasing Manager at Reliance Precision Ltd, I have led and implemented key supplier agreements and negotiated new cost saving contracts for major services provided to the business. I have also identified and worked on key improvements to purchasing processes and practices.I currently hold a Supply Chain Manager role at Wesco Aircraft and leading a team of inventory planners and buyers in executing the effective management of complex supply chains for our customers in a distribution environment.
