My lifelong mission is to contribute to solving the planet\'s critical problems, including food and water security, renewable energy, environmental protection, and sustainability through encouragement and enablement of future generations, including girls, under-served minority and first generation youth, and low-income youth, to successfully pursue education in (and thrive in careers that leverage) science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).President of the Board for a top ranked US University\'s alumni association; member of the Board of Trustees and several Visiting Committees including for data, systems, and society institute. Primary professional role as Chief Operating Officer and Board Director for an MIT Start-up commercializing a modular, scalable thermal energy solution globally which will be a critical contributor to the planet\'s Energy Transition solutions.30+ years as an Executive in Cyber, Privacy, Risk and IT with a leading Fortune 500 strategy and technology firm, with client service officer responsibilities in both vertical markets and in functional innovation units, P&L responsibilities, talent management and executive hiring/development for large teams, and Officer in Charge of contracts for major Federal Government and DoD customers. NACD Director-Certified and serving on several corporate boards bringing strategic planning, advanced technology, cybersecurity, Federal government contracting, and environment expertise, among other topics. Former Board Director, current Advisor, and member of Environment and Sustainability committee for a public company pioneering and commercializing ocean-energy technology, sustainable power generation, and data capabilities. Limited Partner and advisor to a Venture Capital LLC that invests in promising technology in cleantech and advanced materials, AI/IT and robotics, and life sciences. Served on several private and start-up company boards focusing on femme-tech and cybersecurity. Through many board roles, have led Budget and Finance Committee and Compensation committees, and served on the Governance and Nominating Committees and Environment and Sustainability committees. Former Board Director and Vice President of the Board for a Social Impact organization focused on developing girls into leaders through Entrepreneurship, Life Skills, STEM and Outdoor experiences and opportunities. Former Advisory Board member for the Engineering School of a top-ranked US Higher Education Institution, and currently advising the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering.
