I have over 25 years of experience protecting brand names, products, content and technology. Mertzel Law PLLC provides large and small clients the benefit of my experience, using state-of-the-art, cloud-based software in a nimble, efficient and (nearly) paperless law practice.My litigation practice focuses on a wide variety of trademark, copyright, and technology matters. Having studied computer programming, I am adept at litigating cases involving source code and data, and leverage my coding knowledge when deposing computer programmers. I also handle disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). The transactional side of my practice includes trademark prosecution and portfolio maintenance, copyright clearance and counseling, and copyright policy matters.
