About Nicole McMahon

I am currently a Associate Principal for Health Management Associates (HMA). With deep hands-on experience in Medicaid managed care operations and project management, readiness, and compliance, I offer a well-rounded perspective regarding managed care and state operational processes.I\'ve held various roles in projects and previous positions ranging from proposal management, operational support, external evaluation, executive assistant to health plan president and other chief level officers, member/customer service, administration, and business development. I have successfully led managed care organizations in winning RFP responses and have worked alongside health plan departments to implement the awarded contracts. I also have an in-depth knowledge and experience with facilitating contract implementations and readiness reviews on behalf of state Medicaid agencies. I’ve also served in interim Medicaid agency positions. I earned my Certified Health Care Manager certificate from Indiana University and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute (PMI). I am a graduate of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business where I earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and human resources management.
