Nancy McGuire Choi is a Chief Operating Officer, executive coach, and board advisor who takes mission-driven organizations, executive teams, and boards to their next level of strategic growth, development and impact.Nancy is COO of The Nebo Company, a pioneering leadership coaching and development firm. Previously, Nancy served as Interim CEO and COO at Polaris, an award-winning nonprofit that uses data-driven strategies to disrupt and prevent human trafficking. She also served as COO at Development Gateway, an international non-profit that creates digital tools to support data-driven decision-making in international development, and as Co-Executive Director of AidData, now a research and innovation lab at The College of William and Mary. Nancy has trained and advised over 300 nonprofit board members and executives on board best practices and adaptive board leadership in complex times. She serves as an instructor for the COO Roundtable at the Nebo Leadership Academy, a cohort-based program for COOs of mission-driven organizations.A lifelong athlete (soccer, rowing, rugby), Nancy is an advocate for the sports-to-leadership pathway, especially for girls and women.Nancy has a BA in Anthropology from Harvard University and an MS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
