Negotiated terms with banks and worked with various law firms, securing the funding despite collateral challenges resulting from share lock up agreements.• Led the accounting due diligence on a $13 billion bid for an international public oil and gas company. Responsible for the quality of earnings statement and sign-off of the tax, operating costs, capex, fixed assets and abandonment assumptions while liaising with the operations, commercial, economists and banking teams.• $2 million saved implementing accounting system through vendor and support negotiations. New system improved the control framework, reporting and the monthly close processes.
