A. Manage all aspects of Office of Admissions whose charge is to annually identify, select, and successfully recruit a talented and widely diverse class of approximately 400 students from an applicant pool of over applicants; B. Develop and implement Diversity and Inclusion strategies, including: • Attend to and supervise pre-matriculation and engage post-matriculation matters related to diversity and inclusion, including oversight of affinity group recruitment, targeted outreach, and special events. Further responsibilities include: o Oversee Associate Director of Admissions and Coordinator of Diversity and Inclusion o Work with admissions colleagues to develop protocol for outreach to transgender candidates o Partner with student groups to enhance recruitment and inclusionary strategies for members of affinity groups o Developed series of programs and events for admitted students of color o Ensure that promotional materials reflect a diverse and inclusive community o Law School Subcommittee for Diversity and InclusionC. Develop and implement numerous innovative strategies to ensure an expansive pool of law school candidatesD. Other essential tasks include: • Recruitment: Oversee outreach to approximately 100 universities and colleges, organizations, and other law school admission fora through travel and webinars • Plan and supervise coordination of 5 large on-campus events each year for admitted students that involve panels, classes, and multiple receptions, including diversity day for under-represented minorities • Edit promotional materials, develop new brochures, and manage admissions website content • Closely monitor and analyze enrollment data and trends throughout the application cycle • Oversee interview program • Give presentations to large groups of students • Hire, train, and supervise a full-time staff of 13 • Report directly to the Dean of the Law School
