I support the Director of Cybersecurity and Risk Management in performing complex technical, policy and legal functions. I assist with and conduct research, analysis and development of issues, opinions and policy direction related to ICC policies regarding activities of critical infrastructure entities.I plan and conduct extensive research to assess statutory compliance of utilities by applying legal methods and procedures and interpretation of federal and state law.I review and draft legislation, analyze proposed legislation, and advise ICC staff on legislative initiatives related to cybersecurity.I develop and present educational material related to cybersecurity topics.I attend and represent the ICC at industry and association conferences, workshops and exercises and monitors trade and academic literature in order to keep abreast of issues and trends in emerging technologies and their impact on security requirements.I act as an internal resource for the Office to support ICC staff who have inquires related to cybersecurity and risk management topics. I provide technical assistance, as appropriate, to other offices under the Deputy Executive Director of Policy.
