Nick Kavassalis is the CTO at Origin, working with an amazing team to revolutionize pelvic floor physical therapy. Before Origin, he was the Director of Engineering at Virta Health. At Virta he built the engineering organization responsible for the technology Virta’s Type 2 Diabetes reversal treatment was built on, as well as the original security program, acheiving HITRUST and SOC 2 in its first year. Prior to Virta he was the Head of Operations and Security at Amino, where he worked to make Amino’s care search product scalable to millions of users. Before that he was the Head of Technical Operations at SalesCrunch, where his team built a secure online collaboration platform, eventually selling the business to ClearSlide.
