ABOUT NJERI RICHARDSON-CARTY

Njeri’s career has been geared toward the global empowerment of children, educators, and education leaders. Her leadership skills in consulting, coaching, and mentoring new educators as an instructional strategist, learning coach, and behavior intervention coach. She has twenty-one years of experience; including studying, teaching, coaching, consulting, facilitating workshops, and participating in conferences throughout the United States and internationally in Italy, Namibia, Anguilla, St.Martin, and Finland. She has consulted with diverse groups of students, educators, and education leaders about special education policy, assessment, early literacy/numeracy concepts, instructional strategies, creative pedagogy, restorative practices, multi-tiered systems of support frameworks; positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), response to intervention (RTI), social and emotional learning (SEL), and brain-based learning (BBL). During her educational career, she has taught special education, general education, English as a second language, dyslexia, and gifted and talented populations in at-risk communities. She is a global instructional strategist at implementing research-based educational practices for effective instruction from intervention to enrichment.In her current multifaceted role as a campus behavior intervention coach, PBIS ( Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports) coordinator and district Quantum Learning facilitator, she has focused the last five years on innovative education solutions through creative pedagogical practices in coaching students, educators, and education leaders in proven methods grounded in research from the neuroscience of learning, assisting in orchestrating cognitively rich environments, elevating campus culture and experiences to equip educators and students for academic and personal success.Her philosophy of education acknowledges the dignity and uniqueness of each individual. Her attitude toward children, adolescents, and adults as lifelong learners, is one of true enthusiasm. As an edupreneur, CEO of Branches Of Learning Education LLC and founder of BIG On Learning and Branches Of Learning Education Center, Anguilla; she creates learning environments that develop children, adults, educators, and education leaders to be effective communicators, competent problem-solvers, self-directed learners, responsible citizens, and quality producers as they prepare to meet the dynamic needs of an exponentially global changing landscape in education.Image
