I am the Director of Business Graduate Programs at Jackson State University (JSU), where I have been leading and overseeing the academic and administrative aspects of four graduate programs in Accounting, Management, Economics, and Business since August 2022. With a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Durham and a certification as a QuickBooks Expert (CQE), I have more than five years of experience in applying and teaching advanced accounting and finance skills and knowledge.Besides my leadership role, I also serve as a Professor and PhD Supervisor at JSU, teaching and mentoring students and conducting research in various areas of Accounting and Finance. I have published multiple articles in reputable journals, such as Corporate Ownership and Control and Journal of Accounting and Organizational Change, and received appreciation certificates from the Jordanian Prime Minister, the Jordanian Customs GM, and the Dean of the Technical College at Gurayat. My mission is to advance the academic and professional development of the graduate students and faculty, and to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and diversity at JSU.
