ABOUT NIYO D. JC

I am Jules Christian Niyo D, a Data Science Engineer and Risk Manager with a robust background and rigorous academic training. My professional journey has allowed me to work in various environments, from financial institutions to tech companies, as well as on innovative research projects. At Groupe Cofidis, I served as a Data Science Intern, responsible for categorizing customer operations and monitoring data categorization in Open Banking. This role enhanced my skills in data analysis and financial system management. During my time at Afriland First Bank as an R&D collaborator, I developed a credit approval scoring method and designed a market analysis platform, contributing to improved decision-making processes and financial strategies. Notable projects include the development of ShimWare D. ERP, a comprehensive risk management and ERP system, and an AI-driven disease detection model used by Camair\'s AI doctor group. I also created a market analysis platform for Afriland First Bank, compliant with Basel standards, and developed an LSTM forecasting model for a Business Intelligence platform. In research, I co-authored a paper on ultrasound-based kidney imaging for estimating glomerular filtration rate using artificial intelligence, published in March 2023. I possess a wide range of technical and personal skills that enable me to adapt and excel in various professional settings. My programming skills include Python, R, SAS, Java, C++, and MatLab, along with deep knowledge of databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. I am also proficient in technologies and frameworks like Spark, Git, AWS, Django, Angular, Torch, Docker, and Spring. I am fluent in French and English, with basic proficiency in Japanese. My soft skills include autonomy, agility, a challenger mindset, a methodical approach, and a strong sense of responsibility. My interests include trading, quantum physics, foosball, anime (especially Naruto), and game theory, reflecting my passion for analysis, intellectual challenges, and culture. Thank you for reading.
