I’m in my final year of Biomedical Engineering, but somewhere along the way, my interest in data analytics and business strategy totally took over. Now, I’m immersed in SQL queries, Power BI dashboards, and discovering insights that make a real impact on business decisions. Not quite the lab work I imagined when I started, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. A standout moment for me was contributing to the content team for our technical symposium, where I created engaging content that significantly boosted social media engagement. This experience was a huge confidence boost and sparked my interest in content creation. Through my internships, I’ve worked across a range of projects, from understanding customer behavior to working out on strategies to optimize marketing campaigns. I’ve developed a knack for translating complex data into straightforward strategies that help businesses see the bigger picture. My experience has taught me that even small insights can lead to meaningful decisions—and that’s what keeps me excited about data analytics. I’m currently building my skills in Power BI, SQL, and Tableau, exploring how these tools can turn raw data into actionable insights. To deepen my understanding of the strategic side of analytics, I’ve also completed certifications in Project Management, Business Analysis, and Digital Marketing. This blend of learning and hands-on experience is helping me connect data insights with real-world business impact. As I transition from student to full-time professional, I’m looking forward to connecting with others who value the role of data in business.
