About Nitya Jain
I am a second year BB.A. LL.B. student at Symbiosis Law School, Pune, with a keen interest in corporate law, Intellectual property right, Arbitration law and a steadfast commitment to promoting legal awareness. My journey in the legal field is driven by a dual vision: to excel as a corporate lawyer and to bridge the gap between legal frameworks and societal needs through legal aid initiatives.As a member in the Student Bar Association—the official mooting society of SLS Pune—I actively participate in organizing and facilitating moot court competitions. Notably, I was part of the organizing committee for the 10th Symbiosis International Criminal Trial Advocacy Competition (SICTA) 2025, which was graced by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Mohan Pieris, former Chief Justice of Sri Lanka and Permanent Representative of Sri Lanka to the United Nations, as the Chief Guest. This experience enriched my understanding of international criminal law and honed my event coordination skills.I am eager to engage in internships, research projects, and collaborative opportunities that align with my interests in corporate law, IPR, Arbitration and social justice.
