Responsible for successful onboarding and smooth transition of new hires by providing excellentcustomer service and facilitation Process background checks, and fingerprinting of teaching staff Ensure required documents are collected, prepare offer letters, I-9 verifications are completed,payroll notices are submitted, medical documents, credentialing documents, checklists,acknowledgments, etc. Coordinate with hiring manager and IT for systems and office setup, as applicable Schedule andconduct HR New Hire orientations and logistics for quarterly New Hire Orientations Payroll, HRIS,and Benefits Backup for payroll functions including processing, preparing reports, answering employee questions,and distributing checks. Maintain ADP Workforce Now portal updates (new hires, terms, benefits,forms, links, events, etc.) Project Co-Lead for Wellness program Responsible for successful offboarding and smooth transition of departing employees by providingexcellent customer service and facilitation Conduct exit interviews, under supervision of HR Director Coordinate with hiring manager, payroll specialist, and IT for closeout of systems, vacation payout,termination paperwork, return of agency property, etc. Submit COBRA eligibility Prepare separation packets Post open jobs to external sites (Handshake, university, niche sites, etc.) and ADP Coordinatelogistics for job fairs and participate as part of the team Perform candidate screening interviews orreference checks as requested Additional Duties & Responsibilities Responds to Human Resources email inquiries as first point of contact. Answers questions from applicants and employees regarding policies, forms, benefits, hiringprocesses, etc;refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff. Responsible for OSHA log and EEO filing Assist with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, openenrollment, holiday parties, and other celebrations.
