About Nitish Hooda

Over the past 9+ years, I have helped startups and large scale companies use design to solve complex business problems, delight existing target users with enticing design. In the past 4 years, I have led the design teams at Shell, PVR Cinemas, Stanza Living, Feetapart and Litewallet(a stealth startup). At the lead designer at Feetapart, I was able to overhaul the design of their apps and increase the user engagement rate for key features by 900%. The Feetapart app trended at #3 for the fitness category on Play Store as the result. Currently, at Shell, I lead the design for Collaborative Workspace Tool(CWT), a tool to digitize the process of identifying, digging and and handing over multiple wellbores within a single project. Worked on end to end design process from gathering requirements, generating user research insights and using them to create user centered UX and visual design. I have a background in engineering with a bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science. Improving inclusivity in design is one of my passions.
