ABOUT NITISHA ARORA

Imagine working as an entrepreneur within an Investment Bank. I have had the privilege of experiencing the entire gamut of emotions when I spearheaded Goldman Sachs’ entry into the renewable energy space. From feeling anxious during that first ever investor pitch to confidently deciding on how to invest the first dollar, from reading purchase agreements to reviewing financial and tax models, from being the first employee in the team to training managers and creating a 40-member team across geographies, from the lows of a dead deal and losses to the highs of managing a portfolio worth $1.8B, the experiences I have had played a pivotal role in shaping the individual I am today. I have learned to adapt to new and unstructured environments, tackle complex business problems by breaking them down, and leverage the power of diversity to march towards a unified goal. And I am quite passionate about finding a way to do all of this while helping people along the way! I love volunteering for old age homes and orphanages, organizing sensitization drives to raise awareness about the LGBTQ+ community, hiking, rollerblading, and eating my way around the world!
