   AWS Change & Diff Approval Service – Distributed, highly available and scalable RESTful web service for change and diff approval with contextual rules integrated into the CI/CD process pipeline. This service enables of Amazon and AWS teams to verify, validate and safely deploy infrastructure changes through their pipelines. Reduces service downtimes due to unnoticed or wrongly deployed changes- Designed and implemented a new service that provides developers’ insight into the effects of their Infrastructure as Code (IaC) changes by annotating their diffs with recommendations for deployment safety in CI/CD. Implemented in Java and Smithy. Deployed on ECS with DynamoDB, CloudFormation, Fargate, AWS-CDK- Designed and implemented Rule worker service, which allows subject-matter experts to define and implement guard rules to their IaC changes during code review or CI/CD deployment stages to ensure deployment safety. This would enable multiple dev teams within Amazon and AWS to create, deploy and manage rules at scale, securely. This was implemented in Java and deployed using AWS Lambdas, Step Functions, CloudFormation Guard Rules and AWS-CDK- Built services that were responsible for collecting, creating and generating reports for Monthly Business reviews and customer feedback to prioritize bugs and feature requests. Using technologies such as Elastic Search, Kibana, Grafana, Lambdas, CDK, Quip API, CloudFormation. This saved a total of ~15-20 SDE hours per month spent in creating these reports manually, enabling teams to deliver on the features and improving the service- Participated in Agile practices to incorporate stakeholder feedbacks early and to ensure timely delivery of high quality and thoroughly tested software. Attended daily scrums, enabling discussions and incorporation of changes on-the-fly as we got more new data and requirements. Helped co-ordinate meetings, ran retrospectives, contributed to the sprint planning.
