ABOUT NITIN VOURGANTI

As a kid in middle school, I always had a passion for programming and how robots function. Throughout middle school, I used to fiddle around with block coding, HTML, and VPython scripting. Once I graduated from the 8th grade, I joined Lighting Robotics. A robotics club that is associated with Canton High School. While at this club, my knowledge in computer programming, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering has significantly widened. Along with this, my communication skills have expanded, as I present the main specifications that I and my team have created on that night, in front of over 120 students. I also learned how to communicate with the team that I led allowing me to gain better leadership skills. In my spare time, the knowledge that I gained, allowed me to experiment on my own, creating small different projects using code. One of my recent projects involved a VPython script that depicts a catapult launching a ball at a certain angle to land in a specifically designated area. This mini-project was created from a simple question asked by my physics teacher: How will you need to shoot a ball from a slingshot to land on the target, which is 4 meters away? As none of us, students did have the materials, and everyone made mathematical calculations, my curiosity wanted to see if our calculations were right. As such, I have great confidence that I would have a significant impact on engineering roles. I am very interested and eager in learning about future career options, thus I would be delighted to speak with you about engineering employment positions.
