Nitin Kushalappa M P is an Indian author, software developer, and project manager. He has over 13 years of experience in creating and managing native iOS (iPhone and iPad) and hybrid mobile applications, utilizing various technologies such as Objective-C, Swift, AngularJS, Node.js, Cordova, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Nitin is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an agile expert who has successfully executed multiple projects, from requirements gathering to product release, working with clients, stakeholders, and teams across various domains and geographies. He has worked with different startups and MNCs. His book \"Dakshin: South Indian Myths and Fables Retold\"(Puffin, 2023) was awarded the Kendra Sahitya Akademi\'s Bal Sahitya Puraskar (Children\'s Literature Award) in 2025 and was shortlisted for the Atta Galata Bangalore Lit Fest Prize in 2023. He writes regularly for the Deccan Herald. Nitin was responsible for leading the research and coordination activities at the \'Sandooka: the Living Museum of Kodava Culture\', which was initiated and supported by India Foundation for the Arts (IFA). Currently, he is a trustee at Sandooka Museum Trust (SMT).
