About Nitin Gopalkrishnan
The time is always right to do the right thing\" is what drives me. From being an Engineer working on Infrastructure projects studying socio-environment cost benefit analysis & engaging with migrant construction workers, shocked by real-life stories & situations, I led myself to become a practitioner for social inclusion & environmental action. I started working with entrepreneurs solving complex social & environmental problems. I\'m honoured to have enabled formal financing & incubation support for informal workers & enterprises functioning in underdeveloped ecosystems. My passion is conceptualising & developing things from scratch. My achievements here include developing a large scale Climate Education program for low-income rural women enabling them to take action for Self, Family & the Community. Currently, I\'m working on an Impact Investing Initiative to fund Social Entrepreneurs in India committed towards Social Inclusion & Environmental Action.I look forward to co-creating solutions that are People & Planet centric.
