ABOUT NITIN NAIR

Becoming a physiotherapist was not something that happened by accident, I chose this after being a patient and going through rehabilitation myself (Yes, I have been on both sides ). A motorbike accident changed my perspective towards healthcare in year 2003. A medical school aspirant who wanted to get into the field of neuroscience, I was introduced to the field of Physiotherapy for the injuries sustained. This is when I realized that being a part of someone’s recovery and seeing them achieve their goals,gives you the greatest feeling ever. After Finishing my university degree from Rajiv Gandhi university of health sciences in India, I was fortunate to complete my clinical internship and my first job placement at two of the biggest acute care hospitals in India. Through my clinical journey, I had the opportunity to work with the best in the field of - •Cardiao-Thoracic and vascular surgery/intensive care unit • Pulmonology and respiratory science • Joint replacement and arthroscopic surgeries • Spinal surgery • Sports medicine & Rehabilitation Presently working out of an out patient clinic in Milton, Ontario. I have been working with patients presenting with: •Sports injuries and rehabilitation • Pre and post orthopaedic surgery( rotator cuff surgery, SLAP lesions,Tendon repairs, ORIF, Tendon transfers, ACL repair, Meniscal repair, Tommy John’s etc) • Post joint replacement surgeries ( hip and knee) •Injuries sustained in Motor Vehicle Accidents An advocate for healthy living, I am grateful to have been serving the community and helping people look beyond their injuries. I enjoy socializing and spending time outdoors with my family and friends. I love meeting people and that’s the best part of my profession, it never gets boring. An avid foodie, you can also find me trying new cuisines at the local food joints.
