Inducted into the MLA team to work on the flagship car, The Range Rover Sport, as Upper canopy Zone Integration leader, project was at PA gateway and required coordination with cross-functional team to develop detailed master section to resolve geometric and packaging issues. The prime responsible was Geometric Integration, Attributes status monitor, issue resolution by conducting package meetings/escalation and benchmarking. As we know, top Luxury car are expected to have all latest feature with better experience at the same time, which means ever-growing components list that we have to package and future protect. At JLR we give special attention for Driver visibility which helps achieve our world-class driving experience to name some of those methods Exterior forward vision, glance over shoulder, CDP and CAVE with Unreal tool, all of this while preserving design intend. With the Range Rover and Range Rover sport been launched, I was moved to one of the Electric Car projects, which later became the lead project with pretty much the same responsibility.Extensively worked on Windscreen OBS band and A-post Trim set-up to optimise / improve PQ & OQ, CAB, EDS package, Tailgate wiper motor package to improve the viewing experience through the rear screen.

Having been part of the automotive industry since 2009 and having worked for a variety of global brands I have had an opportunity of working on entry level Crossover vehicles to Luxury SUV’s functioning from concept all the way to Job1.I am currently working at JLR as a Vehicle Package Engineer leading upper canopy package, my primary role includes coordination with Design, Human factors, Studio engineering and Body concept team to establish Exterior & Interior surface’s that deliver product target attributes. The process requires carrying out feasibility studies to develop optimized section’s which includes integrating mechanical components and benchmarking with a goal to improve customer experience without compromising functionality. I had brief exposure to battery and driver pack integration in a hatchback. I have also run Range Rover sport as a Zone leader for upper canopy where I had the opportunity of working on Vehicle architecture, master section development and Human factors studies.
