Amazon vision is \"to be Earth\'s most customer-centric company.Job Responsibilities-• Manage daily task related to providing import/export compliance guidance in APAC market to support AWS trade activities.• Assist with technology, hardware and software trade classification (HTS), communicate trade regulatory requirements such as (Import licenses, BIS, EPR, WPC/ETA, restricted authorization, SCOMET), as per foreign trade policy and local regulations.• Interact with internal and external functional partners to identify and rectify any information or process gaps.• Develop, document and maintain operational process and procedures. Monitor and clearly communicate import/export regulatory or procedural changes that could impact planning for import or related requirements in the APAC region• Responsible for establishing positive business relations with key stakeholders and business teams. • Accountable for strict adherence to the reporting compliance metrics, assessment, driving process improvements. • Lead new project launches, expansion, review NIP projects, risk and mitigation assessment to ensure smooth operations.• Key Projects – Importer of Record (IOR) Transition, FTA, Inhouse Import tax Payment, Forex Payment, Green Light Process automation (Supplier & Broker)
