Assist with two active research studies - BOOST and FLAME - focused on how exercise and cognitive training influence brain and behavior outcomes in older adults. For BOOST, I assist with sub-maximal testing by collecting heart rate data and adjusting treadmill settings, help run cognitive training sessions in the lab, and set up new participants by managing emails and Polar devices. For FLAME, I help with VO₂ max testing, prepare participants for physical and cognitive assessments, and input data into REDCap. Both studies aim to better understand the cognitive, emotional, and physiological effects of long-term exercise interventions.
