The Aditya Birla Science and Technology Company Private Limited (ABSTCPL) is the global corporate research and development hub for the Aditya Birla Group's diverse businesses.
We undertake R&D projects to commercialize technologies for the Group's businesses in collaboration with its technology, production and marketing divisions. We also offer contract research, analytical services, engineering and scale-up facilities for entities outside the Group.
ABSTCPL is powered by a team of scientists and engineers, with strong linkages with premier academic institutions and research laboratories (both in India and abroad). State-of-the-art equipment set in a one-of-a-kind technology-led environment facilitates the development of innovative products, processes and applications.
Through our multi-disciplinary teams comprising expert scientists and engineers, we help our customers achieve technological excellence and enhance their market positions.
Our areas of expertise include Material Science, Metallurgy, Chemical Science, Fibres, Engineering and Simulation Technology amongst others.
ABSTCPL hosts a world-class analytical testing laboratory at its Taloja campus. The lab spans an area of 20,000 sq ft with state-of-the-art equipment and quality management system tools. The lab is ISO 9001:2008 certified since 2010 and accredited under ISO/IES 17025:2005 by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), Government of India, in chemical and mechanical testing.
Our famous Knowledge Centre houses an extensive collection of books and journals and provides access to leading databases, ensuring that scientists and engineers have access to cutting edge information and knowledge in addition to facilitating patenting and other intellectual property related activities for the innovations conceptualized at ABSTCPL and various R&D teams across the ABG.
The Process Scale up facility at ABSTCPL is a unique and vital part of the R&D centre.
