ManufacturingSet up and operationalized a new facility and team for seaweed-based food ingredient manufacturing. Redirected the manufacturing strategy of biostimulants leading to significant reduction in COGS, better cash flows and WCC and lowered inventory carrying costs. Initiated operational excellence activities leading to lesser down times, higher OEE’s and lowered conversion costs. Supply Chain Directed strategies to maintain fill rates upward of 97% while lowering inventory costs. Implemented a KPI system to monitor and strengthen the supply chain activities. Drove vendor base enhancement and rationalizations across both domestic and international suppliers. Changed the Pan India logistics strategy to support faster deliveries under a new cash and carry business model. Carried out TRS for import and exports and reduced the dwell time by half. Drove implementation of several DGFT schemes such as EPCG, AEO, Star House, RoDTEP etc. Devised the export distribution strategy to support storage and deliveries in the EU
