As a passionate sport enthusiast and dedicated professional at Decathlon, I have built my career over the last three years by combining my love for sports with innovative strategies to drive growth and success. I started my Decathlon journey as a part-time team member while completing my undergraduate studies. Through continuous learning and a strong drive to contribute, I transitioned into a full-time role and began focusing on the cycling sector.Over the course of my journey, I’ve successfully led initiatives that helped conquer the cycling market in Coimbatore. My dedication to driving results and my ability to collaborate with leadership led me to become the Department Manager for Cycling in just 11 months. Today, I’m proud to lead the largest team in-store, consisting of 13 members (5 full-timers and 8 part-timers), where we work together to deliver exceptional customer experiences and grow Decathlon’s impact in the cycling space.I’m always eager to learn and collaborate with people who share my passion for cycling and retail, and I’m excited to continue driving innovation and growth within my team and the industry.

   Second Life Sale DayLaunched an innovative campaign to highlight second-life products, driving customers into the store and resulting in a 28.1% turnover growth after four consecutive weeks of degrowth.2. Special Kids Cycling RaceOrganized an event for special kids with 106 participants. More than any economic value, this event was the most heartwarming due to the innocent smiles of the kids and heartfelt thanks from their parents.3. Coimbatore Racing LeagueOrganized Coimbatore\'s first-ever professional road cycling event, with 50+ professional racers participating, marking a significant milestone for Decathlon Coimbatore.4. Community RidesOrganized weekly community rides, setting a benchmark of 56 riders in a single ride, the highest recorded in Decathlon India by a single store.5. Store Opening: DSI BroadwayContributed to the successful opening of the DSI Broadway store with a massive crowd. A cycling event,\"Eco Wheels,\" with 250+ riders was organized, and although the store was just short of 3L in turnover, it became one of the top-performing opening stores.6. MTB XCO EventOrganized a professional mountain bike race in association with the Coimbatore Cycling Association, marking the first such event, and achieving a Return on Investment of >1Lakh.7. Ride for the FutureEngaged 300+ riders in two events—one in Isha and another in Pollachi—through this casual ride initiative.8. Successful Tie-Up with Cookoo Cycling ClubFormed a successful partnership with Cookoo Cycling Club, which has 300+ active cyclists in Coimbatore, enhancing Decathlon’s community outreach.9.
