A. Procurement Management - Deep diving and understanding the expectations of the management from a formulated project- Estimating / Making Costing Analysis based on the design basis and BOQ received from the consultant and pitching the derived budget to the management- Floating RFQs / Enquiries / Tenders to potential vendors for work package / equipments involved in the project- Reviewing the quotations received from the vendors and in parallel sending the same to the technical team / user for confirmation / comments on the same- Performing Value Engineering Analysis with reference to the Technical Specification / Design Basis and the received quotation via various rounds of discussion with the vendors; so that requirement can be brought down to the most suited product and preventing over designing- Making Techno - commercial Comparisons and bottom up costing analysis for negotiating with the potential vendors- Negotiating with the vendors and awarding the same to best suited vendors in terms of price, quality, delivery, etc- Drafting Contract Documents / Making orders on SAP system and getting released from Audit and various other levels- Following up with the vendor throughout the order lifecycle till final completion and handover- If needed, visiting the vendor works for checking the manufacturing status.B. Project Management and Overall Project Coordination- Review, control & ensure optimal value on time, cost, resources & quality parameters- Prepare, coordinate & control schedule for issue of Engineering deliverables- Coordinate with Site Team and other cross functional teams like Finance & Accounts, EXIM, etc. to ensure all deliverables like ABG/PBG/LCs/ EPCG Licenses/ Port Clearances, etc. are executed on time in order to meet the project deadline- Visiting Project Site for trouble shooting with the Site Team and checking the execution status.
