About Nitasha Nair
Over eleven years of cross-sector work experience in private, government and non-profit sectors. Expertise in strategy and partnership development, business development, policy analysis, brand management, data analytics (AI/ML) and software engineering. I work in the intersection of technology and sustainability to drive innovation for Fortune 500 clients through application of AI/ML and data analytics. I graduated from Columbia University specializing in Energy and Environment policy. Cofounder of an entrepreneurial initiative, a Microsoft AI for Earth grantee, which applies data analytics and machine learning to better understand climate change and migration aiding implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I have also worked with the International Water Management Institute which is a part of CGIAR, a global consortium of 15 international agriculture research organizations, where I managed research uptake for projects in South Asia. Prior to this, I worked with the state government of Gujarat which is the western most state in India where I led a team of consultants in planning, strategizing, executing and monitoring multiple behaviour change communication projects. Played a key role in setting up systems for knowledge management and to enhance government and research communications through online and offline channels.
