I have extensively worked (23+ years) in the Oil, Gas & Petrochemical industry (onshore as well as offshore) on full-time basis up-to the levels of Lead Piping Stress and Support Engineer. I’m a competent and experienced design engineer with good communication, motivational, organizational and interpersonal skills. Familiar with codes ASME Section II part D, ASME Section Div 1 and 2. Well versed in using standards API 610, API 617, NEMA SM-23, API 661, and API 650. Familiar with other API standards. Blast analysis for offshore lines. Stress analysis of GRE Piping. Modal analysis and time history analysis of slug lines. Stress analysis of jacketed lines. Trunnion check and local stress calculations by Kellogg’s method. Flange leakage analysis calculation. Preparation of spring data sheet, bellow data sheets etc. Preparation of spring Technical Evaluation and Technical Bid Evaluation report. Engineering checking and designing of supports. Reviewing of vendor drawings & documents. Visual checking of lines by using engineering judgment and approximate method.Management skills- Man-hour estimation for stress analysis. Implementation of Lean planning in stress analysis related activities. Work according to company procedures and suggest improvements.
