ABOUT NISHAT HOSSAIN

I am a passionate Public Health student from Rutgers School of Public Health, majoring in Health Policy and Systems. With an undergraduate degree in Health Administration from Rutgers University, my decision to pursue Public Health stems from a longing passion of always wanting to be involved in the healthcare industry and wanting to make a difference for healthcare consumers. I became interested in the field because it provides me with the opportunity of being able to make major changes in the American healthcare system and actively work towards improving public health. I am interested in bridging the gap between individuals and the healthcare system. I want to be a part of optimizing change and creating more efficient environments within an organization. I plan to expand my skills and take what I have to offer to hospitals in hopes of creating tangible change in public health settings. I seek to learn from my future endeavors and experiences in hopes of expanding my knowledge and being an asset to public health organizations.
