About Nisha Pb

I didn’t start PRANI because I wanted to “run an animal NGO.” I started it because I kept seeing the same problem play out in our neighborhoods: unmanaged street animal populations leading to avoidable suffering, rising rabies risk, and growing tension between communities and animals. What should be a public health issue was being treated like a series of emergencies. I believed we could do better with science, structure, and compassion and that belief became PRANI (Protect and Rescue Animals in Need Initiative).Since then, our team has focused on one thing: measurable, preventive impact. We’ve sterilized and vaccinated 500+ community animals, responded to 200+ emergency cases, and implemented WHO-recommended ABC-ARV programs in Chennai- reducing future litters, lowering disease risk, and improving community safety at the source. Our work isn’t about short-term fixes; it’s about building a system that’s ethical, scalable, and accountable, with transparent reporting and clear outcomes.Today, I’m looking to collaborate with CSR and ESG leaders who want their sustainability investments to create visible, long-term public health impact. Whether it’s funding structured sterilization programs, supporting preventive healthcare, or enabling critical infrastructure like animal ambulances, PRANI offers corporate partners a reliable, compliance-aligned way to drive real social impact. If you’re exploring meaningful CSR partnerships in Chennai, I’d love to start that conversation.
