About Nisarg Mehta
I have been working in the Data Science field for the past 3.5 years. I have worked in LLM, NLP, Computer vision, and structured data to develop and deploy machine learning and data science solutions that enhance the user experience and reduce the company\'s operational costs. I have successfully implemented projects such as the Liveness project (Computer vision Project), a facial recognition system that detects live faces and checks for image quality, saving the company ₹3 Crores annually, and have worked on improving the search engine at Groww (NLP Project) and classifying NPS comments (NLP Project), using various ML and transformer-based models. I have also optimized the resource usage of different ML applications by conducting load testing, reducing the monthly costs from ₹15 Lakhs.I hold a Bachelor of Technology degree and an Honors in Machine Learning and Data Science from Vishwakarma Institute Of Technology, with a CGPA of 9.10 / 10. During college, I worked on real-life computer vision and NLP projects, such as developing goggles for blind individuals and building a weed removal bot. I achieved the 2nd runner-up position in a hackathon organized by Syngenta. I also served as the Lead ML Engineer at Omdena, where I focused on forest landscape restoration projects through predictive analysis. I am passionate about solving challenging problems using algorithms and data structures and have solved over 700 problems in the past 1.5 years without any off day. I have also won the Triple Crown Award and completed four levels of the Innovative Planning Path at Toastmasters International for public speaking.
